Congo Creek - Carol McCormack

800.00

Carol McCormack captured this scene near Narooma on the New South Wales south coast with acrylic on stretched canvas.

It was painted in situ while she was camping at Congo Point.

For the full view of this painting please view in the gallery.

Length:  40cm

Height:  91cm

Over my left shoulder was a little tidal creek. Early in the morning I saw roos come down to the water to drink from the fresh layer that flows above the salt.  I resisted the temptation to include them in the scene, but couldn't resist the egret.  Birds are so significant in defining what a place is. - Carol McCormack
