Elizabeth "Thumper" Clark
Known all around western Queensland as "Thumper", Elizabeth Clark is a versatile woman of the land who loves to create.
She and her 6 sisters were brought up on the "Leander" a property north of Longreach which she and her husband Peter still run with cattle and sheep (when the seasons are good). They are currently de-stocked and have been for the past 18 months.
As you may have guessed she's a bit camera shy.
She has loved art since primary school, but never pursued a formal art education opting instead to learn by experimenting and so she is still learning and experimenting. She paints with pen and ink wash, water colours, oils, acrylics and spectacular silk paintings.
She draws inspiration from where she lives.
